Omina Technologies Belgian Economic Mission 2022

Omina Technologies was very honored and happy to have been able to participate in the 2022 Belgian Economic Mission to the US (Atlanta, New York & Boston), led by HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium. We traveled over 12.000 kilometers, and participated in 6 company events, 12 panels, 2 startup/VC pitches, and over 20 face-to-face meetings. We really enjoyed talking about trustworthy AI and sharing our experiences with all participants.

We are happy to share our 3 key take-aways with you.

1. There is a paradigm shift in healthcare and life sciences

The health ecosystem (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Health-insurance) is eagerly looking to innovate toward personalized, proactive, and continuous health outcomes. Data and insights are the lifeblood of these innovations. Great conversations about how we can support those outcomes, using powerful, ethical, and regulatory-compliant AI solutions.

2. Success is about mindset

We were thrilled to be inspired by many insightful conversations within the Belgian delegation and to see an attitude of growth, collaboration, and purpose. Belgium might be a small country but the entrepreneurial mindset only comes in Extra Large!

3. Connection by purpose

People do business with people, and people create new outcomes with people who are connected by the same purpose. Beautiful to see how companies/customers are looking more towards co-creation. Mutual engagements with a shared goal drive sustainable and strong partnerships.
