In the past companies used artificial intelligence to automate rather harmless decisions such as recommending the right movie or ad. Today companies are increasingly using artificial intelligence to automate decisions that have a huge personal impact such as loan approval decisions, disease treatment decisions, job hiring decisions, rehabilitation and prison sentence decisions, etc.
As a result, ethical artificial intelligence (aka EAI) is concerned with detecting and mitigating bias to prevent unfair decisions by taking appropriate actions in the AI workflow.
In this talk you will learn about how ethical AI is related to law, ethics and explainable AI.
